Accreditation & Continuing Education Credit

General Physicians: The Mount Sinai School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Mount Sinai School of Medicine designates this educational activity for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Dietitians: PRESENT e-Learning Systems is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Registered Dietitians (RDs) and Registered Dietetic Technicians (DTRs) will receive continuing professional education units (CPEUs) for completion of this program/material.
Nurses: Professional Education Services Group (PESG) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Podiatric Physicians: The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM) is an approved sponsor of Continuing Podiatric Medical Education through the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME).
Pharmacists: Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program has been approved for General Pharmacy Continuing Education.
Certified Diabetes Educators: To satisfy the requirement for renewal of certification by continuing education for the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE), continuing education activities must be diabetes related and approved by a provider on the NCBDE List of Approved Providers (www.ncbde.org). NCBDE does not approve continuing education. The Mount Sinai School of Medicine is on the NCBDE List of Approved Providers.
Physician Assistants: AAPA accepts Category I credit from AOACCME, Prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for the organizations accredited by ACCME. The Mount Sinai School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide Continuing Medical Education.
International Physicians: The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the United States who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
